And tomorrow is the deadline for the dissertation proposals! It's a shame they don't do smilies on this thing cos I'm telling you, my face is a picture. I got mine in early (that NEVER happens) and after being unable to talk (seriously, I lost all use of the English language) whilst doing my presentation and then having to deal with a dentist who thought the best way to discover if the soft spot on my tooth was decay was to shove a spikey thing in it to see if it hurt, I'm on the wine as I don't have to be in uni tomorrow :D
Now I just have a 2000 word essay on concepts to re-draft, a 500 word summary of perception to make up, two exams to sit and then I'm actually going to graduate! Add to that my mate Peta's coming up for the weekend and I've got the weekend off work and it looks like I might be regaining some sort of semblance of normalcy :D
So girls, end of year madness? :D

The Bloody Tally and other random nonsense.
Well we started a bloody tally but I reckon he's onto us as we only got two today, following 21 last Wednesday! Next up is Bingo. We're compiling a list of his well known and used phrases so watch out for Bavarian Lecturer Bingo!
Other than that not much is going on. Dissertation proposals are well under way and due, at some point. Some point soon. I think. As it's week five everything else is a bit mental as well and work, well, I'm sure it still exists but let's not discuss that right now...
I'm currently here as a way to procrastinate making up alternative everyday analogous tasks to test frontal lobe damage and degeneration in older patients. Why I wanted to study psychology is now seeming like a very long ago and not well thought out plan...
Now for the exciting bit, it's my birthday tomorrow! I'll be reaching the grand old age of 23, happy happy, joy joy... Expect some carnage and if you're in Edinburgh then watch out for the group of students coming to take over the city :D
Anyway, enough rambling from me, best go and write something constructive!

Gilly here!
Sup!
Thought i would pitch in a bit here =]
So yesterday i threatened myself that i had to do something about my project proposal or actually drop out 4 weeks before we finish.
Luckily i decided to plump for the former and finally went to see Lindsay.....and it turns out it wasn't as scary as i thought lol. Even scarier than project proposals is the fact that I have sorted out my date to move out ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....Gillian...being responsible??? gonna be entertaining stuff lol. dunno how I'm going to afford it since its about 4 weeks after i come back from LDN all debt riddled and that....although I will hopefully have a kick ass job to help me out =]
Anyhoos...enough about me blabbing about me....UNI IS SHITE!!! lol. Was looking for flats in Brighton during social today for some reason....mainly cos I couldn't think of anything useful to say other than "I am shit at this" lol. that's about all I can say for uni at the mo.

*EDIT* did anyone realise how much work we have to do for the next two weeks???? I totally lost track of everything....feck. Only done 1 essay plan too oops =p

Week three already!
And what have we learnt so far ladies? That our German Lecturer is from BAVARIA, which is, according to him at least, the best part of Germany, that he likes SHPAGHETTI (deliberate spelling mistake) and that he says BLOODY all the bloody time. So in our next class, and all subsequent classes with him, I'm going to keep a tally. Previous tallies include how many full chalk boards can be used and how many times one particular lecturer says "da da da" instead of etc... Don't say we don't pay attention!
Also just had a meeting about my dissertation, scared much? Luckily I'm not doing the whole whack, just need to come up with a concept but I've already got four great chunks of literature to read and start summarising. At least my topic is interesting, the use of tests of executive functioning in the diagnosis of frontal lobe generation and the drawbcks therein...
